The ‘Universal Declaration of Rights’, created by Ausbanc, is signed by Cordoba’s local council; Celebrations and round table discussion mark the occasion at Cordoba City Hall

Cordoba´s  local council has signed up to the Universal Declaration of Rights for Users of Financial and Banking Services, celebrating the occasion at the City Hall.

 

Celebrations to mark the occasion were held on Thursday, 19 of November at the City Hall headquarters in the presence of Mayor Andrés Ocaña Rabadán, Ausbanc President Luis Pineda and Alvaro González-Astolfi Infante, Ausbanc delegate to Cordoba.

 

Celebrations resumed in the afternoon at the Hotel AC Cordoba Palace, where an interesting round table took place with the participation of officials, academics and consumer advocates from Cordoba, including Ignacio Gallego Dominguez, from the University of Cordoba, Rafael Díaz Vietit Piélagos, notary, Francisco Palacios Criado and Luis Pineda Salido, from Ausbanc. The session was moderated by Alvaro González-Astofil Infante.

 

Next, delegates read a selection of articles regarding consumer protection for users of financial and banking services. To conclude the process, the local council pledged to adhere to the statement of declaration and signed it into being.
